Uses of Cookies and Internet Tags

Schering-Plough Web sites use cookies and other technologies to keep track of your interactions with our sites.  Your web browser can be set to allow you to control whether you will accept cookies, reject cookies or to notify you each time a cookie is sent.  If you have shared Personal Information, such as e-mail address or username, we may include a portion of this information in a cookie so that we can recognize you and remember your selections when you return to the Web site. We do not ordinarily link a user's IP address to Personal Information (including e-mail address) of that user, which means each user's session will be logged but the user remains anonymous to us. However, we may use IP addresses to identify users of our site when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with the site's terms of use, or to protect our service, site, or other users.
